He has also been integral to the success of the MFS Mental Health First Aid Course, helping deliver accredited training to MFS staff. He exemplifies loyalty, respect and integrity and his rare ability to bring people together during difficult times have been well demonstrated. I have known Dennis (DT) for 5 years now through his work at MESHA and the SAMFS. He is an intelligent and extremely capable peer worker, firefighter and good mate. His skill-set involves effective personal and professional communication skills, training and education, peer work, peer counselling, and WHS matters. His work through MESHA has involved co-facilitating a psychoeducation and skills-based intervention for military, veteran and first responders, and as one of the facilitators, DT exemplifies the construct of ‘Lived Expertise’. I highly commend your service DT!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Dennis primarily in the mental health space for those working in the emergency services. Dennis has a true passion for this area and his experience along with his genuine disposition and care for others makes him a true asset for his community and those around him. I look forward to continue working with Dennis and learning more from him.

“An integral part of ensuring the Operation Nail team maintains focus and impetus is ensuring that the Field Supervisor has the necessary skills, abilities and interpersonal skills to quickly take charge of the group and inspire members to adopt a “positive – can do” attitude to their duties. TAYLOR has proven that he has this ability and the accompanying administrative skills to maintain this focus at a high level in a tactical environment”.

(SA Police – Senior Sergeant FITZGERALD).

I called upon Dennis TAYLOR to explain the technical aspects of the question. To say that I was extremely impressed with how Dennis went about this is an understatement; Dennis displayed tremendous counselling skills and I could tell that he the candidate appreciated the sincere and supportive manner in which this was done. “We know we have a good man in Dennis; this was just another example of that”.

(SA Police – Superintendent  John PEAKE)

Dennis is a highly skilled and dynamic facilitator who has a genuine passion for support and education in the mental health space. His years of experience in emergency services, as well as his life experience is evident in his content knowledge and ability to adapt each program to ensure its cultural relevance.
Having been a participant on Dennis’ courses, as well as co-presenting with him, I would highly recommend Dennis as a facilitator and speaker. Dennis ensures no questions are left unanswered and his passion for his work is evident in the conversations and engagement he elicits from the groups.
